Writing contest this time! Here I go!

"You can never escape." The sound of the voice was cold and merciless. It stirred in the air like a spoon in a coffee cup.
The figure raised its arm high. "The power of Christ compels you!" it shouted; it sounded like a male's voice.
Maniacal laughter filled the arena. "Not even that can help you escape the fury," the voice sounded again. The voice sounded deeper than the maniacal laughter itself.
As the figure slowly backed away, he pulled out a marvelous-looking sword; the Sword of Sanctity. "Shadow? Is that you? If it is, I can't wait to beat you again once more!"
"As do I, although this battle will end slowly and painfully. We can't end the battle in a 1-hit KO, now, can we?" The laughter flowed through the vines that were slowly popping out of the ground. "Shut up, you!" the hero shouted as he charged at the figure that was appearing in the distance.

Oh, and I forgot, as the topic is "The Land of Dreams", I tried to make it into the style of the world in my Rammstories, the Dream World. It can only be accessed ither when a person sleeps or when they die and have a strong emotion in their body. (SPOILER STARTS) When Shadow and Marx die, their spirits meld together to create Marx Soul, whose emotion they are accessing is insanity. (SPOILER ENDS)
